Our Story
HealthIT was founded in 2015 when we identified a significant gap in the medical billing market. Practices were being categorized into either high-paying or low-paying categories, with their individual needs generalized and lumped together.
We recognized that every healthcare practice is unique, with specific challenges and requirements. Our founder, Peter Sethokga, with extensive experience in medical claims, accounts, and practice administration, set out to create a different kind of billing service – one that treats each practice as an individual entity deserving of personalized attention.
From our humble beginnings serving a handful of local practices, we have grown to support over 100 healthcare providers across South Africa. Our commitment to innovation, accuracy, and personalized service has made us a trusted partner in the healthcare industry.
